I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Dr. Davis. I have had pain in my ankle for over 5 years, and have been told only that "the x-rays look fine." Dr. Davis really listened to my symptoms and ordered an MRI. Turns out I had a chronically torn ligament and tendon. He repaired my foot, including some other issues that were caused by the long-term damage to the ligament and tendon, and I can finally walk without pain. I cannot say enough good things about him, and would (and have) recommend him to anyone, including my friends and family.
Dr Davis is a careful and caring doctor. He showed compassion at my visit and clearly explained what was wrong. He told me his main goal at his clinical appointments is to bring his patients to have reasonable expectations with the treatment plan they chose. I would encourage everyone with foot and ankle problems to go see Dr Davis.
Dr. Davis is such a kind and gentle compassionate man. He knows his field and cares about people. Cannot recommend him enough!
I CAN NOT recommend this doctor. I walked in complaining of swelling of my ankle when a lot of walking is done. Dr. Davis said he would make an incision and clean the joint. I was never told I would have screws and a plate installed. When question, I was told it was necessary to avoid re-occurrence of simtoms. I went for a second opinion of the procedure done and was told that what he did was not the best solution to my issue. I understand he has had some kind of issue in 2020 and is not practicing.

Bad...RUN AWAY...after multiple foot surgeries...left me crippled....much much worse than before I went in.....not a Quality doctor to see to many complaints....go away fast not worth it to be left crippled

He didn’t talk with me he talked at me. He knew what was wrong before he even examined me. I wouldn’t recommend unless you want to feel like you don’t know what you’re talking about.
The creepiest doctor I've ever met. He has the most fake personality - not typical Dr bedside manner, but contrived. I brought my teenage daughter to see him and the way he looked at her gave me the chills. I would stay far away from this man, especially if you're a woman or bringing your children to see him.
Left me a cripple...TOES STICK UP ... has me walking on the bones (ball) of my feet not able to stand with toes assisting the foot almost a year later after 3 surgeries foot is still swelling beyond....and unable to walk with swelling and unable to tie a shoe...dr doesn’t care just go elsewhere foot is not aligned correctly and tendons not attached correctly causing additional problems... overhear others in the office saying back because of pain DON’T GO HERE
I was referred to Dr Joel Davis after a severe ankle talus fracture. He was so kind and spent time visiting with me about the surgical options I had. I saw Dr Davis over the course of 3 years. Due to the severity of my injury, it was not a one and done type of healing. Dr Davis is compassionate about his field, and seems genuinely happy to see his patients. He specializes in foot and ankle surgery, and I would recommend him to anyone with that type of injury.
