My son tore some ligaments playing basketball. Dr Davis and his team provided excellent care and now he is back to playing as if he was never injured.
Day of surgery- threw up so much after surgery, that my pain meds wore off. Called and they said I had to pick to treat pain or throwing up. Since I couldn’t keep meds down, I chose to be in the most excruciating pain I’d ever experienced so I’d quit throwing up. Fast forward a month and screw was coming out and forming a knot on my foot. I went twice and they said it was nerves. To treat it by massaging the area and it would go away. Considering I couldn’t even touch the area, I had a second opinion where we did more X-rays... read more
Dr. Davis saw my teenage daughter for pain in her midfoot. We secured an appointment within the week, along with xray and a mri imaging. He wrote notes for for her to take with her and fully answered all her questions. He showed compassion when she was upset regarding her diagnosis and was encouraging to her regarding her return to normal activities with adequate recovery time. I appreciated the thoroughness of his care and his attention to every detail from requesting bloodwork to suggesting footware.
If you are looking for a practice that gives grace to their patients, find a different practice. Also, be ready to give them grace as you wait to be seen because the doctor’s time is worth more than your time. And if you do have to deal with billing, do not expect understanding or compassion.
After 15 weeks from surgery Dr still has not see me. I return to have stitches removed and later return for visit 2 months later and still was told to come back in 2 more months . Still without ever seeing DR. It has been 15 weeks and he still has not looked at the work he did no my foot.I tried to get an earlier appointment, but I was always told he did not have an opening.I felt he could have at least looked at his work and seen me while I was there.
Ruptured Achilles tendon July 3, 2019. Told me he would not do surgery. I was too old and too out of shape. He started the next visit with “Do you know who the Canadians are”? I thought that was weird. He proceeded to tell me that he wasn’t going to do surgery and that was he was going to do what they do in Canada. At first I did not understand. He said he was copying a technique they use in Canada where they cast the foot. I had three different casts on my right foot. Each with my foot in a different position. Flat then on ... read more
Dr. Davis was very helpful in sorting through all of my research and pros and cons. I never felt pressure to rush through the appointment and just get to “His” agenda. Knowledgeable, compassionate and truly felt patient centered over all.
Great physician. Knowledgable. Understanding. Compassionate. Instills confidence.
