Doctor Turner repaired my hernia and I did not feel like I had surgery. I felt no pain at all after the surgery. I absolutely had no need for any pain killer. The man is very professional and caring. His staff is very good too. They make you feel well when they interact with you. I highly recommend Dr Turner to anyone who needs surgery.
I recently was referred to Dr. Turner for a hemithyroidectomy. I could not have been more pleased with him as my surgeon. He is pleasant, relaxed and very good at what he does. He takes the time to answer your questions and makes sure you have time to ask all you wish. I felt like I had known him for many years in just the first visit. A very unassuming person who seems to genuinely care about 'you' as his patient!
I had my thyroid removed by doctor Turner 2 months ago, and he was the best surgeon that I could find, all my regular doctors comment on the scar i have, because it is not very noticeable at all, if i ever need surgery again, I want the Dr Turner
Dr. Turner was my thyroid surgeon. He came highly recommended by my endocrinologist, my internist and my lung surgeon! He was very professional with a good bedside manner and thoroughly answered all my questions and concerns. Plus his medical secretary, Leesette, was the absolute best!! A doctor’s staff can be just as important as the doctor himself when it comes to dealing with medical appointments and follow ups, as well as relaying post-surgical questions to the doctor.
I found Dr. Turner easy to talk to and to understand. I was confident that he addressed my concerns in a pleasant and courteous manner and I would certainly recommend him to family and friends.
Very competant surgeon answers any questions you ask. Leezette his assistant makes you feel like family.
Dr. Joel gave my husband and I a thorough explanation of information on his condition and surgical procedure. We received well informed answers to all our many questions. Dr Joel is friendly and comforting giving him a great bedside manner that put us both at ease. Booking appointments and scheduling was super easy and stress free thanks to Leezette in the office. I would highly recommend him and his staff to family and friends.
Dr. Turner is someone I would use again but hopefully don’t have to. He is an excellent surgeon and GBMC is an excellent hospital. The surgical staff that took care of me before, during and after the surgery were beyond compare.
Dr. Turner is a thoughtful and caring doctor. He explained my procedure fully and answered any questions that I had.
