Dr Bernard explained everything to me in detail as to what he was going to do. In December of 2021 he did my surgery. He is the best surgeon I know of in Charlotte. He was extremely nice and professional. It’s been almost 3 years now. I saw him again on July 18th 2024. He did a CTA and told me he no longer sees evidence of an aneurysm. I highly recommend him to anyone. Best doctor ever. 5 stars
I was Diagnosed with a brain aneurysm last May and was referred to dr Bernard by my local neurologist. Dr Bernard did follow up tests on my aneurysm last year and I just came back yesterday for follow up. Good news. It’s still very very small. He reassured me many times that it wasn’t dangerous at this stage but to come back in 2 years for another mri. He went out of his way to calm me down and I felt much better after seeing him. Handsome and caring. Highly recommended for your neurological care
Dr Bernard has great communication skills. He is very thorough. He spend time and answer all questions I highly recommend him
One of the most brilliant and incredible people I have ever met. I could not be happier with every experience I’ve had with him and his staff. He saved my life and will do the same for you. Look no further, he’s simply the best!
Dr Bernard was recommended by my neurologist because I Needed follow up on 2 tiny cranial aneurysms they happened to find during 4 brain scans. I had a Transient Global Amnesia event on Memorial Day weekend so my regular doctor sent me here. We did nit have to wait long in fact they took Me in early. The doctor Shook our hands and introduced himself as joe Bernard. He explained my situation to me very calmly and clearly. He reassured me that the two tiny aneurysms only needed to be monitored for a year. If no growth then ano... read more
Dr. Benard, of Carolina NeuroSurgery & Spine Associates, genuinely embodies a caring and honest approach to medicine. His manner of speaking is engaging and inclusive, making sure to converse with you rather than talking at you. He excels at simplifying complex medical jargon, making sure you have a clear understanding of your situation. Remarkably, he doesn’t hastily propose surgery as the sole solution. Instead, he carefully lays out the benefits and potential complications of any suggested procedure, preferring to priorit... read more
Dr. Bernard saved my life on 9/9/22. The lord guided him during my surgery. I had a brain aneurysm and a stroke. He is a wonderful surgeon. May God always bless him during all of his procedures
Dr. Bernard just saved my life! By the grace of God I made it to Dr. Bernard’s excellent team. My ruptured (unknown) brain aneurysm was perfectly coiled, which would have otherwise taken my life. I’ve since had several other appointments with him, I’m always comforted by his smile and easy going, confidant, knowledgeable words. He truly is the best!!
Dr. Bernard come coiled an aneurysm in my brain. Now it’s seven years later everything has went pretty much textbook. He communicates great, and he obviously knows his stuff. I would highly recommend him.A++++
