Dr. Bernard is great, helpful, attentive and very professional. His bedside manner is one of the best I have encountered in many years.
Dr Bernard is very caring and an excellent doctor. He does not rush and spends time explaining in layman's terms, showing your condition on films and going over options. He is just a great guy and some would say an old school doctor that cares about his patients and isn't in a rush or worried about how many patients he sees. Dr Bernard also comes highly rated from other doctors so he is excellent in his field and a nice down to earth guy.
After losing hope with other neurosurgeons, Dr. Benard was a breath of fresh air. He personally reviewed my MRI, explained everything in detail, and—most importantly—validated what I’ve been feeling for so long. For the first time, I left a doctor’s office feeling heard, understood, and respected.
Dr. Bernard is fantastic! He has great bedside manners, eased my anxiety, and treated my aneurysm! I couldn't recommend him enough!

I visited him on December 26 2024 for assessment following a freaky back injury. I was delighted and grateful to hear no surgery needed and a more conservative approach was recommended. He was patient and very responsive to my concerns. Most of all he acknowledged my daughter and complimented on the good behavior that my grandchildren displayed. That was huge for us. Thank you for your services Dr. Bernard! PS. I relocated to this area also after living in Lafayette La. 10 years! Go LSU!
