The arena was built as a state-of-the-art, multi-purpose facility and anchors the 223-acre, $1 billion development Westgate City Center - the "crown jewel" of sports and entertainment complexes. On October 25, 2006, Jobing.com purchased the naming rights to the building and Glendale Arena was renamed Jobing.com Arena. RecommendedGreat place to g before the game
Love this arena. Have attended many events, besides hockey games. Not a bad seat in the building.
Went to hockey game. It was great watching the Coyotes dominate on the ice.
Traffic is horrible, it took 2 hrs to get out of the parking lot one time. Never again
Seems like a nice place for a concert. I'm upset with the box office though. In an attempt to save money, (due to the high tax and fee charges on Ticketmaster) I drove up from Tucson to buy tickets to a concert I'm dying to go to. However, it was a Saturday. Apparently they don't update their systems, as the automated phone system states the hours are 10-4 on Saturdays. No reason to believe otherwise and second guess it. Be warned: If you buy a ticket for anything at this venue, they will automatically add you to their call list without your permission and call and harass you to buy tickets to hockey games. I've been to many venues across the country and have NEVER been added to a call list without my permission like this -- pretty sure you are breaking the do not call rules by just adding names to your call list without permission, especially considering my ticket was purchased through Ticketmaster not you. I enjoy working there, the people are very nice, respectful to their guest, and co workers work together as a team, along with team leads, and management. I recommend working here if you're into the live entertainment business, loves working with people, and providing excellent guest service, and love sports this job is for you.
