The arena was built as a state-of-the-art, multi-purpose facility and anchors the 223-acre, $1 billion development Westgate City Center - the "crown jewel" of sports and entertainment complexes. On October 25, 2006, Jobing.com purchased the naming rights to the building and Glendale Arena was renamed Jobing.com Arena. SUPER PISSED. We bought tickets over a year ago to see Shawn Mendes tonight in phoenix and they werent cheap especially not for four people with seats right next to the stage. We drove almost five hours to get here and took time off of work to come see him just to find out that our seats were switched. We were notified at all in anyway, had we not pulled up the tickets and look we would have had no idea. Fun place for a Cold temp hockey game in the heat of the desert! Other big events are great here also!
By far my favorite venue. I’ve seen Sam Smith twice and Pink. All seats are great.
