I lived in a condo unit managed by Alan for five years in Fairmount. He was a very understanding and responsive realtor and always sent a repairman out the day we called or next business day if the request was after hours. Our hot water heater broke a few years back and it flooded our entire first floor. Alan got someone out there that night to help minimize the damage and clean up the water and eventually the damaged floor was replaced within the week. I rented an apartment for 18 months with JMH Realty Concepts in the art museum area and I truly had a good experience throughout. If ever there was an issue with appliances or I had any questions, they were very quick to answer or follow up. Having said that though, it's very important to read your contract and understand it. Alan Folkman and JMH Realty served me well while living in Jenkintown at Beaver Hill Condominums. When there was a problem with anything, he responded fast, polite and made sure I was satisfied with the work maintenance did. It was extremely comforting knowing I could rely and trust a landlord who actually took the time and effort to ensure his apartment got the attention it needed when something was wrong. I have been spoiled by the service I received from Alan Folkman and JMH Reality. Alan managed a property of mine for eight years until I decided to sell. Presently, I am the landlord and owner of a property on the Main Line. Unfortunately, JMH does not take properties in this area, and boy, do I miss the service I depended upon from JMH. With JMH, all of my questions were met with quick attention. Service was always prompt, professional, and honest, and I highly recommend this company for all of these reasons.

I had an incredibly positive experience with JMH for the last two years and highly recommend living in one of their buildings to anyone in Philadelphia. JMH was fair, responsive, efficient, and FAST (my emails were often replied to within minutes, or first thing in the morning if I sent it in the evening), and, if there was an issue that required someone to be sent over (for example, I had a tube-light that went out that I couldn't replace), that person usually came within a day or two. JMH Realty Fairmount Office is one of the better property management companies in Philadelphia. My wife and I have worked with Alan F. on and off for nearly eight years and just recently moved out of one of their properties (which went smoothly). Alan has always been professional and responsive. Unlike many management companies in Philly, JMH and Alan are quick to return emails, phone calls and resolve maintenance situations as fast as possible. I was a tenant of JMH up until this summer for 7 years. They run a solid & professional shop & knowing how landlords can be in Philadelphia, I was very happy to work with Alan. Everything is clear, fair & straightforward. It's run like a business and if you keep your affairs in order you will have no issues.

I have nothing but good things to say about Alan and the JMH team. They were prompt, efficient fair and, dare I say, kind. I got to the point where I enjoyed dropping into the office and saying hi to the people there. It was a very positive experience. I rented from JMH for 3 years, during which time they remodeled the kitchen and installed hardwood floors in the living room. They did so respectfully and quickly (which isn't easy to do).
