Excellent experience. I can't say enough about this physician. He put 2 new stints in. I currently now have 6 stints. I had leg pain for over 2 years and once the stints were placed and given a blood thinner my legs are 100% back to normal. I have my life back. It was so debilitating over the last several years. I was given a diagnosis for my legs of fibromyalgia by two other physicians. I was taking 9 gabipentin a day to just be able to function and this was with still a lot of pain. Dr. Matzinger did two procedures on me recently at Grand Strand medical center. He is in my opinion an excellent surgeon who explained everything to me in a straightforward and honest manner. His expertise in robotic surgery made my recoveries quicker and easier. I have very high confidence in this doctor and would go to no one else in the future.
In June of 2020 Dr.Pepe saved my life little did I know that I could have died when I got to the ER they quickly discovered what was happening with me and it wasn't good, but thankfully Dr.Pepe saved me ? I would also like to say all the staff at his office are awesome! I'll never forget him and if I'm ever in need of him I know he's there, Thank you so much doc ??

Dr Cheatle performed spinal surgery on me in 2016. I actually woke up in recovery pain free. I had been in pain for 13 years prior to this surgery. I have praised his talents and knowledge since. As a nurse, I also cared for his patients post operatively. He is a very skilled and talented neurosurgeon. I would recommend his services to anyone in need.
Excellent doctor who was highly recommended. I am very grateful to be a patient.
