Very bad customer service. They will send you in circles at their call center for hours. Refuses to file a claim. Should be illegal.
Quick to bill, but slow to pay. I have a simple claim but the adjuster filters her calls through voicemail and doesn't return messages left by my attorney. this is going on a year now. what good is having insurance if they don't respond. we have to sue the driver now. i feel bad for him. don't use state farm
DO NOT USE THEIR SERVICE! The worst insurance company I have ever dealt with. Been trying to get our roof replaced for over a year and they are fighting us tooth and nail on everything. Their customer service is the worst I've ever experienced. Save yourself time money and agony and go with any other insurance company. Would leave 0 stars if I could.
If u could leave negative stars I would. If you are looking for home owner insurance… RUN. They are more interested in making up their 13b loss last year, raising rates, and denying every claim stating “preexisting”. After 13 years owning a property since new, and it’s “preexisting “. ???? I was told I would receive a 15% discount on my car insurance for drive safe and save and a multi line policy. When my agent entered the information, the computer calculated the discount incorrectly. My agent also called the billing support line and they said it was nothing they could do. I would warn others to not purchase insurance from State Farm because this is FASLE advertising. Accident was on Feb.2nd 2023 the at fault driver was covered by State Farm Insurance. I was able to drive my vehicle to the body shop on Feb.27th to get the damage repaired, but because of the lack of communication between the estimator for State Farm, and the body shop I was out of a vehicle for 72 day's. I made numerous calls to State Farm, to get information as to why it was taking them so long to get estimates and supplements approved, and never once was able to speak to one person. Dear State Farm Your company policy on paying claims for an accident victim needs some serious work.Your customer service is non existing the individual I spoke with tone and demeanor was absolutely condescending. Let's face it your a big insurance company and you screw over people like me. I'm financially unable to legally do anything. Any contact with them was initiated by me. I had to call during the entire process and could never speak to the same person. I had left messages for a manager to call me back and a call was never returned. The vendor they use to settle total loss vehicles is set for trade in values and my ever attempt to provide valid comps were met with a denial of value. I had to deal with the total loss unit as well as bodily injury and both departments required me making contact with no follow up.
Didn’t have rental coverage in 2021 and vehicle was damaged by a weather related incident. Agent recommended rental coverage in 2022 so I got it. Filed a claim for damage in 2023. Agent said rental was covered, 10 days later I get a call rental wasn’t covered because I didn’t have it at time of loss now I’m stuck with a rental bill that’s higher than the repairs.
