While we cannot share specific details in this public response, our Claims Department contacted the complainant on December 8, 2021, to address her concerns. We have reached a satisfactory resolution. Our position is firm, but we will review and consider any new information if presented.
My car is a manual and I was making a delivery ...left my car door open and the car rolled and the door caught on a utility pole break off. My car was towed to M****..they don't do body work....was told my car would get towed to the shop. 5 days later my car is still at M****! So the body shop manager got it towed for me. Then find out his mechanics have health issues and so my car sits...been 2 weeks and I only have til Dec 9th when I have to take my rental back....which I went to get on a Saturday which is what I was told ... read more
Recently my wife’s car was struck by a State Farm policy holder. In general, we have felt ignored and disregarded by State Farm in the aftermath of this collision.
Recently I hit a deer and wrecked my car. This happened on October 15th and it was towed into an auto shop and then left for the weekend. On that first Monday I called state farm and we worked out a shop to get it to and they said they would tow it. 4 days later I wanted to check on the status of my car so I called the shop where it was supposed to be and they didn't have my car. State Farm made a competitive and attractive quote last year, so we decided last year (2020) to switch and get State Farm to cover us for our home and auto insurance. Even if we did not submit any claim in the past years, State Farm sent us the bill this year with a premium increase combined for the auto and home insurance of about $900! The bill did not highlighted or included any explanation of the significant premium increase. State Farm is RIDICULOUS! They sent my claims check to me and made it out to myself AND my leasing company. I went to the repair shop once my car was ready and the owner could not give me my car due to the check being made out to the leasing company. He advised that this should not have been done and I would have to have it signed by the car dealership. The dealership would not sign the check, claiming they had no business with this process. I'm ****Driver picking up at the Airport. My car was parked, I was loading luggage into my car for my rider. The Dodge Ram backed into my car. The ball hitch punched a whole through my grill. I filed a claim on her insurance. The driver of the Dodge Ram had State Farm. I took my car into *** **** to get a estimate done on my car. The estimator looked at my car ordered a new grill. Terrible insurance company...was hit by person with state farm. Person was written ticket and admitted fault. Keith Gates in ***** ***** ***** ***** ******is the agent. I have to have my insurance pay to fix my truck and wait months in order to get my deductible back. Dont let state farm do this to you. Keith Gates has given me the run around for 3 weeks. I have been with State Farm Insurance my entire life. I have always enjoyed good service, honest agents, and quality products. After retiring to N**** ********, I contacted a local agent Chuck R*****, and expected the same high degree of honesty, integrity, and clarity. Instead, this agent has been deceptive, greedy, and dishonest. In May of this year I separated my account from my son and daughter in laws, we had been living together for several years.
