April H. is our main contact and I have been appalled by her tone and lack of professionalism every time I and other residents have spoken with her. I'm the former owner of a unit in Founders Station that I just sold last week. I got my final utility bill from ConService today and come to find out it has a 10 dollar 'move out fee' on it when I don't even live in the property as it was a rental unit I paid for. JH Berry paid for this account final bill as per policy and now I'm having to deal with them over this extra BS 10 dollar charge that ConService imparted on me. If you are thinking about living in an apartment complex in Birmingham managed by J.H. Berry, don't. Trying to get in touch with your property manager is such a hassle and going to take you about two weeks. After trying to get in touch with mine for a week and a half or so, she emailed me back telling me that she had seen all the times i called, to stop calling the office and don't email her again, that she will respond when she can. Black mold, the land lords are surprisingly difficult to contact when you have a problem and make you feel bad for requesting maintenance. They do not take responsibility for their properties, this is a beautiful place that is rotting and molding. It’s July and the pool is still closed. Makes no sense.
