Best kept secret in Des Moines! The service and the food were both amazing. Plan on being cramped for the wait as standing room only, but it is worth the congestion.
What a place, they just don’t make them like this anymore!! Great people, great food. Waitresses with notepads instead of computers, and all the food was exceptional!!! Don’t miss the onion rings, filet mignonette and broiled shrimp, and the house made salad dressings are incredible. It’s worth the wait!!!!
Potato dry and steak overdone but still a great place to dine. The cocktail was the tiniest glass I’ve ever had but was a good do on it anyway.
My absolute favorite. Food is always amazing and the onion rings are to die for.
I love this place. The food is always excellent and the service is amazing, it has to be one of the best places in Iowa for a steak. The atmosphere is comfortable and the owner is always super friendly and remembers your name. Its by far my favorite place in Des Moines.
