We went to Jesse's Embers on Ingersoll for dinner. I had broiled pike that was really tasty. My wife had a pasta/ shrimp meal, also delicious. Our friends had the steak special and a shrimp dish. Every one enjoyed their choices. Always a great place for lunch or dinner.
Wow! Where do I begin?! From the moment we walked in the door we were greeted as though we were old friends. Joe (the bartender) was wonderful and funny!!!! (Ask him to make you a Wisconsin old fashioned). The food was AMAZING! I highly recommend the bacon wrapped filet and all salad dressings are made in-house. Stopped back at the bar for another drink and Marty (owner) stopped on by to chat for a bit. We had a fantastic time and will definitely stop the next time we are in town.

I like my steak medium well & it was done to perfection. Not too pink & not overdone. Wish I could post my picture of it on here.
Food was great, atmosphere great, maybe tables too close together an our server was ok. We didn't hear the specials of the night from her but from the sever at the table next to us.
