My very first appointment was this morning and he called the office to say he was stuck in traffic. I really appreciated that and he also personally apologized to all of us patience. Very impressive. He and his staff were perfect. His tablet-questionnaire was very difficult to deal with but the receptionist helped me get thru all the questions. The facility/parking/restroom/waiting room were very clean and modern.

Dr Burks is the kindest, most informative and open of any physician I have had experience with. He performed bunion surgery on both my feet at the same time and even though this has been a very painful recovery, he and his staff have been wonderful and supportive every "step" of the way. I cannot recommend him highly enough.
Dr. Burks is very thorough, and will take the time to listen.
Office seems concerned but never really addressed issues, Dr Burkes kept telling me everything was fine. A second opinion shows ankle is actually much worse and will require revision and possibly complete fusion. 8 months out and I am in constant agony with disfigurement of foot. Can't walk in grocery store without tears of pain, my quality of life is less than 10%.
He maybe good for a pedicure. But not for ankles. He is his own horror story. He should not be practicing medicine. He could tell someone they had cancer with a smile on his face. Never trust him. I even know friend that he screwed up her bunion surgery.
Bad, Bad, Bad
Thinks expensive surgery is the answer for every problem. I don't mind him driving a BMW I just don't want to pay for it.
