Jess & Jim's No Way – The customer service at Jess & Jims was unbelievable terrible. For the prices, I would expect a much better cut of meat. I would avoid this restaurant at all costs!
lot of fun – Jess and Jims is like a trip back in time. Fun atmosphere and great steaks! It does need a little work on the side items.

Yuck! – What's wrong with you people? This place is terible! The atmosphere is okay, but the food is poor quality and the service could be better.
The real deal! – Not worth the trip. It's a good half-hour drive from the dowtown/plaza area to this outdated, unimaginative steakhouse. My feeling is, if you're going to spend this kind of money, it would be better spent somewhere else. For example, your dinner salad is presented in a lovely plastic bowl, filled with ice berg lettuce, a plentiful helping of your choice of dressing (of which Thousand Island is one of your choices), and a few chunks of tomato wedges. Simply the bes – It has been 2+ years since I ate there, I live in Califorinia. I have been able to eat at Jess & Jims a few times, but everytime was a plesant experience. My native california wife thought she had good steaks before, but when she ate a steak at Jess & Jims she was suprised. Real honest steaks are at Jess and Jim's – Hi, I have always looked forward to a trip to Kansas City to see mt friend, Eileen. She and her husband Robert have always taken us there for special occasions. The steak is out of this world. You can tell the food is excellent because no matter when you go there there is always a large crowd. They DO take care of you though, with leading you to the bar for a cocktail. JESS N JIMS + COMPLETELY OVERATED! – Jess and Jims is completely over rated and their food is disgusting! I recently went there and the steak was greasy and fried, not at all grilled, it was not done right! the service was terrible, our table was dirty! it was terrible and i will never ever ever return there!
