I honestly instantly knew as I was being wheeled in via the emergency room from an injury sustained from a horrible fall that flew me airborne because the parking lot had Creator size cracks on the ground, anyway I came crashing down on my left elbow and it was and still is the worse pain I've every expirenced, so as soon as I witnessed people in cubicles and lined up in the hallways I asked the EMT person if they could please take me to the next closet hospital they advised ...Continue Reading

Went in on Labor Day Weekend with a sprained knee and ankle. Everyone was friendly, but it did seem that the first three "stops" could have been all done in one stop. Never offered a wheelchair, but everyone asked what was I there for. Observed alot of staff on cell phones that was obviously not work related! Care I received was professional.

Jersey Shore is probably the best hospital in NJ. If you decide to be treated there. You are literally in the best care NJ offers. It probably has alot to do with the violence in Asbury Park and Neptune. It keeps the staff on there toes and constantly prepared. So ya i give 2 thumbs up to Jersey Shore.

Mike was saved there. He was critically ill when we brought him to ER and they Admitted for failure to thrive. He was 111 lbs. He needed hernia surgery and he was diagnosed with Parkinson's after two years of hell trying to figure out what was wrong with him. That was two years ago and he is still fighting this debilitating disease. Just came home after two weeks of intense therapy and doing much better. Please keep him in your prayers.

I have been sitting here reading all the negative reviews, and have to say that my son's experience has been the complete opposite. Everyone has been very caring and attentive from the Care Center, Ackerman 2, Ackerman 5 and the ER and the OR. We haven't met anyone that was rude, his needs are being met and we are very pleased with our experience here. Now just worried that dealing with my insurance company may not be so pleasant!

I came in to the emergency room at 9:25 am on Thursday the 11th I was told I was being admitted at 11ish and was just waiting for a room. I wanted for 9 hours for a room and at about 6pm finally someone ask hey are you hungry and I said yes she got me the most terrible dinner plate. It was cold imitation turkey with the worse stuffing I have ever had. Ok I let it go. Then this morning for breakfast o got frozen pancakes and a turkey sausage. Really it was like they had it in the refrigerator. To make matters worse the dietit... read more

I recently was in the emergency room. I had a wonderful experience. The nurses, doctor, and other staff were so kind and made me feel well cared for. I was seen by a dr. within abt 15 min.and was helped by nurses immediately.

The Cath Lab and PACU nurses should NOT even work with LIVING BEINGS AT ALL! They do not understand mental illnesses like Panic and Anxiety! I was refused a medication I take on a daily basis because the nurses were too busy! They think I am invincible to pain and held me down when I was having a SEIZURE! They failed to listen to my advice about the personal experience I have had with anesthesia and they did NOT address any of my concerns except for making them WORSE!
