Took my daughter (3 years old) to the pediatric ER on Thursday night for swallowing a penny. We were admitted and then she had an endoscopy the next morning. I have to say that every single staff member that we dealt with was absolutely amazing. The nurses, doctors, food service staff, etc. were so incredibly friendly and helpful which kept me as calm as possible in a stressful situation. My son was born here. The nursing staff took excellent care of my wife in labor and delivery and my son in the NICU. Can't say enough about the professionalism and positive attitude all the staff we encountered displayed.
Brought my husband home today with his new pacemaker. Everyone at the hospital was so pleasant and helpful. I was here 40 years ago today and what a difference! They have done so much to make a hospital stay convenient, starting with the valet parking - you just send a text and they bring your car! Kudos to the staff on the 6 th floor - wonderful crew! They are rude and slow
I’ve been sitting in a hallway for going on 3 hours now. Tripped on the sidewalk not 50 yards from my home at approx 5 pm. It’s 8 pm now, and all they’ve done is get my insurance information, because we know that’s most important. Meanwhile my wrist is severely broken, my face is bleeding, and I’m in pain. 10 out of 10. But “I’ll de seen shortly”. What is going to happen to me in this place?! I’ve had many emergency experiences. Never bad. THIS IS THE WORSTED! Do yourself a favor. Do NOT go here unless you are dying. On my 9th hour in the ER with an obstructed esophagus. Apparently they have one guy who can do this and I'm last after a long list of others. Very comforting. Oh. And let's not forget, it took them 3 hours to give me fluids because they brought them in and set me all up, and when I looked at my arm, they never put it in.
