When I came down here after retirement, my wife, Thelma, had already paved the way for a heart doctor. Thelma liked Doctor Truluck and told me he was a fine doctor. I have never regretted having Doctor Truluck for my cardiologist. He is everything my deceased wife said he was. Best wishes to Doctor Truluck. Alvis A. Alley
Dr. Karavan has saved my life and for this I give him 5 stars. He absolutely knows what he's doing when it comes to my ticker (heart). Between him and Dr. Jason Goebel they have allowed me to continue on with my life. I have recommended both of these doctors to friends and my friends go to them and my friends feelings are the same as mine. Kudos to both Dr. Karavan and Dr. Goebel and to Grand Strand Cardiology Dept. for their care and professionalism.

Dr. Karavan, in my professional and personal opinion is one of the very best Cardiology providers that I have encountered in my life. I say professionally because I am a retired hospital administrator. My career in hospitals offered me plenty of opportunities to work with doctors in all specialties. In addition, I also underwent an open heart surgery procedure in 2006. Excellent care given to me!
I have had another great experience with Dr. Truluck. I had a problem and got an appointment the next day and he had the answer. I have been so impressed with him time after time and being a nurse, I am not easily impressed. We are so lucky to have him here in Myrtle Beach!
Dr Truluck performed my cardiac cath in April, 2007. He explained every detail to me as he performed the catherization ( I asked that no anesthetic meds be given during the procedure). He is my cardiologist currently and I have the highest regards for him
