We drove across country to have our child seen by Dr. Kalish. The first thing Dr. Kalish said after walking into the room is “we’re going to make this quick.” She was rushed, dismissive, and didn’t want to take 5 minutes to review the medical history we had put together. We were surprised after hearing so many good things. All the other specialist we met with at ChOP were fantastic. This particular doctor we would not recommend.
Dr. Kalish is the worldwide expert on Beckwith-Wiedemann Syndrome.
Dr Kalish was disappointing to say the least. If you need to see a geneticist, I suggest finding a different doctor. She was rude, impatient, and unexpectedly unknowledgeable.
This woman is an advocate for BWS children around the world. Thank you for all you do to make our children seen and matter.
Got to wait 8 months for insurance to approve this visit but it was so worthy, she's very kind and knows what she's doing. Thank you Dr. Kalish and her team at CHOP!
