I really like this ortho doc, he’s prompt to the point and professional. I am a return patient. I have live in 28 areas and been to a lot of ortho docs, he’s a good one.
One doesn't want to be a repeat customer of an orthopedic surgeon but these things happen. Dr. Zilberfarb repaired a rotator cuff and I write this review two days after he did my knee for a meniscus repair. He and his team have done well by me and while I hope to never see them again after I recover this time, I will return if circumstances so dictate.
Dr Zilberfarb is an excellent orthopedist who has taken care of me for years. I highly recommend him.
Dr Zilberfarb was recommended by my PCP (who has a great track record with me for recommending specialists) for my knee meniscus surgery. Office staff are super friendly. I learned while in surgery prep from the Beth Israel staff that Dr Z is exacting about his instructions for patients and staff (more than the usual doctor). Surgery went well and I was walking and climbing stairs (albeit carefully) the same afternoon. Recovery since then was better than I expected, way better than my experience with another doctor years ago... read more
Tray professional, courteous and timely service provided by a wonderful physician. Thank you Dr. zilberfarb
I saw him in 2000 for a R rotator cuff tear so bad it hurt to raise my arm, never mind brush my long hair. Work was out of the question periSome how I met him. He was young, shy and so well mannered. He went on to tell me and show me the films explanation and what needed to be done...if I wanted to work/pay the mortgage. I was all alone in this decision yet he made me feel confident that I could possibly return to 100%... an experienced projection, not a prom&ise. I worked as an outside technician for “a”” phone company. I h... read more
I tore my rotator cuff when I fell. He did an excellent job repairing it. There's just five little dots, and I'm doing everything I did before with any pain. Of course, I did physical therapy after the surgery. My range of motion is back to what it was before my fall. Awesome!
Get a 2nd opinion. Went here for years. Got cortisone shots that would help. Finally talked me into surgery. Billed my ins and got paid a ton I'm sure. Low and behold it's back. Pain wakes me up at night. I go to see NP Shea - needs some serious bedside manner tips. Her suggestion? PT Okay....hope i sleep well tonight. And, um will Dr Z be paying for all the co-pays from the ins $$ he got for my surgery? And, shouldn't Pt have come waaayy before all those years of shots and surgery?
