Had a bad surgical outcome and he offered little to help me. Had to go to CCF myself to get the help I needed. I felt like he abandoned me.
Dr. Junko was the surgeon for my sisters foot surgery in October. My sister spent the past year out of state in rehab and just returned home before the surgery. After her surgery, she was prescribed 80 tablets of oxy and then another perscription not even 2 weeks later. I spoke to them myself telling them about her addiction & just found out today that he perscribed her ANOTHER prescription this morning- 3 months later. This is one of the strongest narcotics and she should not have them!!!
I am from Cleveland and drove to Akron just for Dr. Junko. Dr. Junko has great bedside manner. He was prompt and efficient with appointments and the day of surgery. Every single expectation was met. He was honest and thorough with recovery time and what to expect. I am very pleased with my choice. My family was appreciative of his kind and thorough explanation of the process. We think he is the best in the WORLD.
Dr. Junko performed an ankle fusion for me in August 2015. Other surgeons had wanted to fuse all three of the major bones together which would have left me with very little mobility in my foot and probably a permanent limp to my gait. Dr. Junko reviewed my x-rays closely and determined that an alternative action could be taken and still relieve the pain associated with the loss of cartilage that arthritis had taken. Thank You, Dr. Junko! So glad we met and happy with the results!
Previously worked with two well known area surgeons this was my first experience with Dr. Junko. I would highly recommend him!
