I was seen through the emergency room. Dr. Smith explained my condition and the possible outcomes. I was received great care and treatment. Follow ups were informative and timely.
Dr Smith provided excellent guidance during my recovery (3 months non-weight bearing on left leg!) while measuring my recovery using X-rays of the fracture sites and my physical mobility upon exam. He solicited and respected my goals for recovery (return to full athletic activity). He listened well and spoke clearly. Our goals for my recovery were well aligned.
We are unable to adequately express our level of gratitude for everything Dr. Smith provided for our family.
Dr. Smith did multple very complicated surgeries on my left arm after breaking it in many places in a dune buggy rollover in Oct. 2016. 10 months later my arm, hand, fingers, wrist all function well. I can't ever thank Dr. Smith enough and highly recommend him.
Dr. does not return phone calls timely; very concerned about break not healing properly after surgery; no follow up from Dr. Rude staff.
Outstanding surgeon whom I would highly recommend. Suffered a trauma of a badly broken ankle and was so fortunate he was performing surgery at Palomar Hospital in Escondido when I arrived. Thanks to his excellent surgical skills I am completely healed and hiking, bowling and dancing after only 5 months. I followed his clear guidelines, didn't put my foot on the ground until given the go ahead and elevated all the time. I know it helped me heal thoroughly and I had no pain.
