Dr Kanel took time to examine and explain the nature of my injury, required treatment and estimated time to heal. He listened to my concerns emphatically and addressed them. His entire team is energetic, kind and professional.
We were very nervous my 11-year-old needed surgery after she broke her tibia. Dr. Kanel decided surgery wasn't necessary, and I was so grateful how much he took into consideration while making that decision. She is doing really well and healing nicely. Excellent care and trustworthy medicine. Hopefully we won't need another orthopedic Dr. anytime soon, but if we do, we will be returning to Golden State Ortho.

The doctor appeared rushed and did not take time to discuss and address all concerns. Offered quick fix solutions in increasing painkiller dose
Waited 2 hours to get about a minute to talk to him, was very rude to me and my mother, did not take my issue seriously at all. Made me feel dumb for asking questions. Will never go back to again.
After a long night in the ER with traumatizing results Dr. Kanel was there to save the day. Thoroughly explaining every step to my 10 year son and worked with such precision and care. Top notch!
Would see him again.
