Dr Lai’s office was able to get me in quickly which really gave me hope for a fast healing opportunity. Dr Lai was kind, wanted to hear my concerns & goals, and did a thorough exam, including ultrasound so he could pinpoint the problem, explain it to me, & discussed options to address (none of which included costly tests or extended visits to his office). I was truly impressed & couldn’t recommend an orthopedist more highly.
I went to see Dr. Lai for a second (or 4th) opinion on my torn ACL. He was incredibly warm and kind, and gave me his undivided attention from beginning to end. He answered all of my questions thoroughly and with patience. He was so helpful and knowledgable. He assured me that surgery was my best option, and I left feeling more confident than when I came. Dr. Lai is an excellent doctor and extremely knowledgable regarding sports medicine and alternative procedures to repair your injury. Very compassionate and a great listener. He wants to get you back on track quickly to enjoy your everyday activities including those workouts!
Unfortunately, I didn’t have the opportunity to see Dr. Lai myself. His reviews speak for themselves, and I was genuinely interested in learning more about PRP injections and scheduling an Appt., especially since my orthopedist at Kaiser couldn’t schedule me for another two months.
