Referred by my Urologist for a double hernia. The staff there was great! Dr. Lafond answered all my questions and made me feel quite at ease. Extremely glad my Urologist recommenced Dr. Lafond.
Dr LaFond went out of his way to fix my problem prior to my vacation..Aboveandbeyond. Not to mention that he’s a very approachable person..
Don't like my personal business on the web. Just know that these people and the doctor don't have empathy or seem to care when there's post-op issues. No follow up at all. BEWARE!

Had a surgery scheduled - found out exactly what an additional procedure he scheduled entailed . "had to have a wire inserted into a mass to be removed?" I refused since I had very recent x-rays and ultrasound to show where, size etc. This surgeon apparently has to have a hooked wire to follow so he does not have to know where mass is. Scary. Then day before surgery called about the above - so did Trident Surgical center - NO RETURN PHONE CALLS TO DATE OVER 24 HOURS to either of us I cancelled

Very pleasant experience. Dr. Lafond has a great bedside manner, he thoroughly explains the procedure to you, answers any questions you may have in detail. Very clean environment. Staff is wonderful as well. Returns call promptly, completes paperwork in a timely manner, and very helpful with anything you may need.
Dr. LaFond and his absolutely outstanding staff were an ease to work with during an extremely sensitive and painful time. They absolutely do a great job caring for their patients and making you feel like you are there only priority! Good healthcare is so hard to come by and im so thankful they are in exception to that! You are in GREAT hands here! Thank you for helping me and being there for me every step of the way!
The absolute best and the pinnacle of professionalism. Dr. Lafond and his entire staff including; Traci, and Allison, treated me like a member of their family every moment that I was there. He has my highest recommendation and sincere thanks for his surgical skill and friendly reassuring patient care.
I would recommend this doctor to anyone. He gave me my life back. I had a massive hernia that two other doctors (in the Roper network) would not help me with. Dr. Lafond not only helped me, but he did so using robotic surgery. I have my life back and I could not be more happy!
