Dr. Wachtel is a great podiatrist, but the front office does not understand being an in network provider. I went to get orthotics. Caroline said my insurance did not pay & I pd $300. Here the claim wasn’t submitted. Caroline refused to refund the $300. This situation is resolved now but it went on for 6 weeks and was unnecessarily complicated. He is a good doctor but the front office needs to understand the insurance and billing process and the way personnel treat patients is a reflection on the doctor’s reputation.

Dr. Wachtel is Awesome! Went to him as I was having issues with back pain and it turned out that I needed orthotics for my shoes. Had knees previously replaced and it threw off my posture enough to effect my back. Doc figured it out and was able to get me on the right path and haven't had a back issue since. Don't wait go and see him!
