Although Dr. Wachtel is a great podiatrist, the front office does not understand being an in network provider. I went to get orthotics. Caroline said my insurance did not pay & I pd $300. Here the claim wasn’t submitted. Caroline refused to refund the $300. The dr s office is in network which is contract w the ins co and part of that is to accept a negotiated rate by the ins co. Dr. Wachtel is Awesome! Went to him as I was having issues with back pain and it turned out that I needed orthotics for my shoes. Had knees previously replaced and it threw off my posture enough to effect my back. Doc figured it out and was able to get me on the right path and haven't had a back issue since. Don't wait go and see him!
