GREAT DOCTORS HATE the FRONT OFFICE VERY INCOMPETENT I have been going to this practice for about 3 years Dr.Iudica and Dr. Ashby are GREAT Dr Jesteadts not so much his personality and bed side manner is awful. I have had to see him 3 times all 3 times i considered finding another practice. Now when I call I refuse to see him I will not give up Drs. like C. Iudica and Dr Ashby because of Dr. J. Dr Ashby&Dr Iudica Id have to say this is the only time ive ever really needed a doctor and this will be the last time.Basicly after receving misguided information and harmfull medication i was basicly called a lier to my face and I have no use for someone like that.Basicly its like a Plumber going to someones house to fix a pipe and charging them 100 dollars to tell them not to use water any more this is a joke.Any way I will no longer require their services ever thanks for nothing
Former Employee I worked for this practice and I have to say the pay is not worth risking your exposure to the usual risks associated with health care and the newest doctor there is very rude and goes through nurses like yesterdays news. I am very dissapointed and expected more from and employer. Beware future employees.
Great Physician! Questionable staff. Dr. Ashby is great! He is friendly, competent, and he actually listens -unlike many other doctors I've seen. However: as with many reviews on this site, I must agree that the staff this practice employs is, for the most part, atrocious. The front desk has been so curt and unfriendly that it is unreal. x-employee I worked for Harrisonburg Family Practice as a Front Desk Receptionist and quit the practice after only 1 year due to the fact that I felt the front office staff were considerably rude and constantly disrespectful to the patients. I found it appaling and got tired of being the mediator between the angry patients, due to the staff out front, and the Doctors who worked there at the time. Good care I've been going to these doctors for about a year now and I like the office; I have not experienced the poor office staff that others have and everyone is always friendly and helpful when I call or go in. I have even had prescriptions filled last minute and they called the pharmacy no problem. They are generally very quick but when I went in for a spur-of-the-moment appointment for potential strep throat, I was in the office more than an hour before I saw anyone. Pricey I got a very big bill for a very small exam, leaving me wondering if my insurance company would agree with the level of charges. I'm tempted to call for an audit.
TO CLEARIFY A COUPLE REVIEWS First I would like to start out by stating that my experience with this office has been a good one. When I first started at this practice I found somethings weren't being done to what I thought was a timely manner, then I realized my attitude was rude and I was unpleasant. I did speak with the office manager and found out they have certain time frames in which to get things done, like RX refills, they have 72 hours and if you call before you run out of medicine they will call in your RX.
