Dr. Rihn and staff were great throughout my process of pre-surgery, surgery, and post-surgery. He never seemed impatient or pushy on what to do. Very impressed with the entire experience.

He listens and then shares his opinion. All test results were shared with me and explained simply and directly. My options were also explained in depth with projected outcomes. My outcome was as expected.

I had two surgeries performed by Dr. Rihn. A fusion of L4-L5 in my lower back and two fusions of my cervical spine. These surgeries were performed approximately two years apart and both were successful. In the case of my lower spine my legs were going numb because of stenosis. Following surgery and for the past 18 months there has been no recurrence of the numbness. I am so thankful to Dr. Rihn for his outstanding surgical talent. He is a kind and thoughtful man.

After suffering for months from dibilitaing leg pain, I found Dr. Rihn. He diagnosed my condition as degenerative spondylolisthesisand a facet cyst in my L4 and L5. The procedure was a laminectomy.. the procedure went off beautifully. My pain was gone when I woke up in recovery. I can’t say enough good about Dr. Rihn. I never felt uncomfortable from the moment I met him. He was courteous, concerned and better, he was confident everything would be OK. 10* for Dr.Rihn

Had scoliosis and stenosis and unable to walk to the mailbox. Four doctors agreed on what needed to be done. Two I had no confidence in and then there was Dr. Rihn and one other. The other wanted to do an A/P approach while Dr. Rihn said he could accomplish the same procedure with just the posterior approach. I came from Harrisburg to Phila for the procedure at Jefferson on 11/01/17. TOTAL SUCCESS !!! Was off opioids in 13 days and in January walked 2.4 miles through a museum. RECOMMEND !!!

Dr. Rihn and his team replaced to cervical disks in my neck in July, and then shaved a lumbar disk in October. Both procedures went as well as they could and I am healing fine, just have to know my limitations. About Dr. Rihn: In a world where everyone went to the finest schools, his resume showed an undergrad degree in Theology. That set him apart from the others. Then when I met him in person I felt it. He is a healer, a gentleman, and a scholar. I would recommend him highly.

Dr. Rihn is caring, knowledgeable and so very encouraging. If it were not for his talents and skills as a doctor, I would not be walking or be able to do the things I do. Thank you!
