Dr. Rihn is a caring and compassionate surgeon. He took his time and explained everything about my condition, surgical procedure and post procedure care. After surgery, he called and checked how I was doing. The office staff was friendly and did not have to wait long for an appointment.
Awesome Surgeon. Reviewed MRI with me explaining everything to me in a understandable way. Listens to my concerns and puts me completely at ease. Surgery went great! I am back to enjoying life with my family.
Dr Rihn is a great surgeon. My son could hardly even walk after hurting himself. He is the sole provider for his wife and two small boys. He has always been extremely active in their life riding dirt bikes, competitive wrestling, building tree forts, hiking , ice skating..... Dr Rihn was able to operate on his back and get him back to work and back to what is most important to him....being active with his sons! Thank you Dr Rihn you are the best!
My 73 year old mother had been suffering awful lumbar pain and neuropathy (multiple falls as result) for years. Dr. Rihn recommended cervical fusion had to be done prior to lumbar (min. pain reported in neck). As a speech pathologist, working with dysphagia patients, I have seen this surgery go very wrong. She was not in good medical condition prior to surgery. I begged her to get 2nd opinion but she trusted the doctor. I have been seeing Dr Rihn for many years as I have alot of spine related issues. He is, by far, the best doctor I have been to for anything. He is genuine, honest and caring. After one of my surgeries he came to the hospital at 10 pm on his way home from vacation to check on me and my stitches. Who does that? Dr. Rihn did. I choose to travel a longer distance since he moved his practice area. I won't go to anyone else for my issues except Dr Stotzenberg at Rothman who helps me with pain management. That's it, just them!
After years of neck psin, I just had my second discectomy and spinal fusion. Dr. Rihn, Laura Woodward, P.A., and Crystal Rowan make a wonderful team. I highly recommend Dr. Rihn if you need spinal surgery. I was pain free after surgery. My surgery was life-changing for me.
Dr Rihn is a terrific doctor. He took the time to diagnose my back issues and explain my options on potential Surgury. I would highly recommend him for anyone seeking relief from back pain.
