I really enjoyed my stay here and the community itself is pretty decent; The reason I’m leaving such a negative review is because the housing company itself, Greystar, is charging me move-out fees for damages to other people’s rooms. They’re charging me over $100 dollars for damages to a chair and bathtub that weren’t even in my room, and won’t back down from the charges. RecommendedPrices are fair for a nice place. Moving in was timed during finals so it was so stressful and you don’t get much guidance from the front office. I’ve had so many issues with my online portal and they aren’t accommodating. Moving in my room was pretty dirty as well
Even though The Lofts is a great place to live, I have to say that The managers always have an attitude and are not the most helpful at all. my complaint is not about what they can do for me but how i am treated, it’s about the the attitude they have towards residents. I feel like managers should always be willing to pick up the phone and at least listen to your concerns no matter what is it and I have not had that experience at The Lofts. I moved in about a month ago, and so far I love it! The rent is reasonable, and the amenities are great! Located right off of the main street (and yet doesn't sound like it), I have easy access to the rest of the city. And the UCF Shuttle stop is almost right outside my door, which is the main thing I needed when moving in! The only thing is that the walls are very thin, so unless you get lucky with quiet neighbors and roommates, get used to knowing what they're watching on Netflix at 3 am. Thank you, Lofts!
The lofts is the best place to live! If you want a clean apartment with plenty of amenities, a friendly staff and tons of activities for its residents, this is the place for you!
I've lived here for two years now going on my third and I can honestly say that I LOVE living at The Lofts! Quiet, cute, and great location! Staff and maintenace are very friendly and helpful! I live in a 4/4 bedroom plan that is two stories and people are always amazed by the amount of space that we have! I've lived at two other apartment places and this one truly doesn't compare in terms of noise and cleanliness!
I hope that anyone that reads this really gets a grip of what i’m trying to say about this place. If you want to feel SAFE while living in any student housing, keep looking. If you want to move into a clean apartment with working amenities, keep looking. If you want to deal with an apartment staff that isn’t rude and short tempered with their tenants, keep looking. Took over a year to fix water leak in apartment. Every time it would rain, which is pretty frequent in Florida, water would literally pour into our apartment near the living room window. My roommates put in numerous of work orders to address and fix the problem, even sent in video evidence of the leaking and yet the issue was not fixed. I just resigned at the Loft's for my 3rd year and overall i love it! The complex is very homey and maintenance is super nice and quick! I havent had an issue with them since I moved in and I'm excited to be finishing up my degree at UCF with them! The only downside are that the rooms are a bit small but the huge closet makes up for it. I also don't understand how this isn't a pet-friendly community since there are already so many animals I see here.
