My dog Charlie this last Sunday morning took off across the yard and came up lame in his left leg .He was crying pretty bad ,The wife and I without hesitation took him up to the Jefferson animal hospital.I took him in the emergency side and explain what happened,I was told there was more room on the other side which I would assume for regular visits.I filled out the paperwork pretty quickly and my dog laid there for a good hour, crying nonstop I'm sure the staff at the J.A.H deal with injuries all the time and are more tolera... read more

Business response:

Mr. Sanders, we are happy that we were able to meet your pet's needs and care. We understand that it can be frustrating when there are long wait times. It is hard to give owners adequate time estimates when steady influx of emergencies are coming in. Patients are taken back based on severity which have to be bumped ahead if critical. I am so glad that Charlie is doing better though! If you ever need anything please let us know. Thank you!

Dr Critchlow was awesome with my Bella! She was diagnosed with Acute Heart Failure. He worked with me on the cost and was very sympathetic for the sorrow I was feeling. Hopefully Bella will make as good a recovery as possible. We hope to keep her comfortable and happy as long as possible.

We took one our fur babies in Friday night and the whole staff was wonderful. They showed such kindness to my girl and to me it was honestly so touching. I was very on edge and worried and they offered me consideration and comfort. The vet we saw Dr. Critchlow was kind, comforting, and open with us. He also personally called to follow up with us for Penny but also thought to check on another dog we were concerned might be getting sick as well. It's a clean beautiful facility that you can tell took the comfort of both pet and... read more

Found a stray at my work. Called them and they said they could check for a microchip and do an examination. She had no chip but said it would be a 3 hour wait for an exam because of another dog who came in with an emergency. They said I could come back later on in the night as an appointment. I decided to wait as I didn't want to bring her home with my other dog if she had something. End up only being a 30 minute wait which was awesome. Loved how friendly the staff was and that they made sure to tell me wait time before I ha... read more

We took our cat to the Outer Loop location on Saturday morning because our regular vet was closed. This was our first visit. The entire staff was kind, sensitive, and caring. A special thanks to Dr. Cheever who provided us a great amount of peace and comfort during a terrible situation. 9/2/17, Little Mac, RIP.

We ended up there twice in one day with two different babies (cats). One had fallen off the stove and caught his leg in the handle, the other has a terrible virus, and would eat and throwing up. Both vets were so sweet and took time for us, our babies and our wallet as well. They talked through all the recommended tests and were great at helping us figure the most affordable route that was also best for our babies!!
