They sell cars with underlying diagnostic issues to people in already hard positions because of credit history. Lindsey it sounds like you may have had a less than perfect experience. We at Byrider do work hard to provide an excellent customer opportunity . However we know that sometimes used cars have aggravating mechanical issues. I brought a car from them on July 29th and on July 30th I called repair because my car was smoking from the hood so they told me to bring it in and had to replace me a radiator the next day . Two weeks later car having problems again driving very weird overheating and engine light blinking come to find out I need a brand new engine and their telling me they will need to keep my car for 2/3 weeks to replace my engine and Ill have to pay a $100 co payment fee . I bought a 2012 Hyundai back in September 2023. I was told by the sales rep that “you’ll never find a better warranty than ours it covers everything down to the last bolt”. I didn’t have it 2 weeks before the check engine light came on and brakes went out. Paid out of pocket for towing to the service dept and had to pay an additional $50 for the passenger rear brake ONLY replacement and a censor. This company is HORRIBLE and communication is bad when it comes to your car getting serviced. I had a car with them and took it back , got another one and it was worse than the first one i only took it back because it was hard getting out of it when i went to regular & better dealers. With the second car its worse than the first one, 3 months being in the car i needed a brake booster , new thermostat now i need a new engine and battery. MY WIFE AND I WENT TO THE NORTH CHARLESTON SC LOCATION LOOK FOR A CAMARO. THE SALESPERSON WAS GREAT NUT THE UPPER MANAGEMENT WAS TWISTED. WE TOLD THEM WE HAD $1200 DOWN, WE AGREED TO AN APPLICATION.
