I have never been there but love the concept and love John Bon Jovi he is a great humanitarian and role model for so many.
Loved the food, the hospitality, the environment, the location, loved everything! Came all the way from Texas with my mom to try it out and see the Red Bank location! Such an amazing experience and I hope I can come back again in the future!
It was a nice experience. I had the breaded chicken with mariana sauce, the Bonjiovi family dish, it was great, with some slammin mac n cheese. Diet soda would've helped, but not available. The volunteers were great, especially the front door guest receptionist, Mary Lou. She liked my shirt, which I thought was cool. Glad I took a shot of the Two River Theater. Amazing experience. Great food. Great service. Great cause! Fresh food; farm to table style. You can pay for your meal or pay it forward by volunteering at the restaurant or at Laurino Farms like my family did. We weeded and harvested beets and collard greens, then donated our certificates back to the restaurant. Then we enjoyed delicious meals styled by Chef Wendy. We visited the Red Bank location yesterday around 1:30 PM. We were being typical tourists after my son's baseball tournament ended. The female volunteer (I'm sorry I don't remember her name!) was super friendly. She opened the door and greeted us before we had even made our way up the sidewalk. She and the manager on duty were extremely kind and answered all of our questions about the Soul Kitchen. I love the concept of this restaurant and it's wonderful to know there are still good people in this world willing to give back ... read more
This was my 4th visit I love it . Food is always delicious and the staff are great . I don't get this kind of service in expensive restaurants I go to. Keep up the good work and see ya soon.
