Was there in November and could not get in, and again last weekend, and again could not get in. Just disappointed. They had a big group come in both times.
Simplesmente maravilhoso! O lugar, o atendimento, a decoração, a comida (especialmente a sobremesa hummm), tudo de ótima qualidade... uma causa linda e importante e um ótimo trabalho! Just awesome! The place, the service, the decor, the food (especially the dessert yummy), everything of great quality ... a beautiful and important cause and a great job!
I have never been to this place. I just read about it on Facebook. I've seen many reviews and it all say that everybody's welcome. Are homeless people welcome too? Was there a time when homeless people get to stop by to eat and offer service for payment? I'm just wondering.
Absolutely outstanding. I love Jon and Dorothea's mission; and it's so heartwarming to see it in action. Our meal was superb and the staff were friendly and happy. We came from Chicago and this is something I can now cross off my bucket list. The restaurant was spotlessly clean, the gardens were gorgeous and my only negative is that Jon wasn't there. Seriously...it was wonderful! I can't wait to go back
The food was gorgeous soul food, the service was fantastic . Well worth the time to ride the Amtrak to Red bank, NJ. We ate , we bought a shirt , I paid for my meal and paid it forwad for someone else to eat. Lou, Wendy and all the volunteers did an outstanding job. This is a wonderful organization helping those in need . If you are ever in New York please take the time to go there and do your bit . Loved every minute of the experience
First time here. Wonderful experience. All the staff were wonderful. Great food. We are from Ohio. Took a small road trip and ended up at these restaurants. Check it off my bucket list. Absolutely a wonderful experience

The best experience of a lifetime. What a wonderful place to pay it forward. The meal was exceptional and the service was amazing. This little peace of heaven has such a warm welcoming feeling when you walk in. It cannot be totally described in words it is an experience that I was so privileged to have. This definitely should be on your bucket list to visit Congratulations to JBJ keep this going as a Canadian I was so proud to be there and share these words Keep paying it forward ��
Amazing hospitality, food is great and it's all for a great cause. It's all either a donation or if you don't have the money to pay then volunteer for your meal. Upon check out is when your told 20 dollar's per person.
