Dr. Olsson is very experienced & has a variety of options to help. He is positive, his staff is wonderful. Widely respected - my mom was on opioids for years and a prescription from him was never questioned.
Trying to get in for over two months. They will not return calls and barely answer when you can. My PCP faxed over paperwork several times and they say they never recieved it.When you do reach someone, they are rude and inept.
Find someone else. I have been in pain management for 12 years, starting in 2013, and, due to relocations over that period, have been treated by 3-4 pain management specialists. Dr. Olsson and his PA Chris Cole are, in my opinion, the most least compassionate, smug, condescending “pain management specialists” that I’ve had the displeasure of dealing with of all. My pain was excruciating and constant, but all these guys did was throw pills at it. No other suggestions for PT, or other alternatives. I ended up having a spinal f... read more
Of Brevard, Florida. I do feel lucky that I found him as I have fibromyalgia and chronic pancreatitis, both are quite painful separately AND totally overwhelming when both are active. Brevard seems to have strict and inflexible rules for those of us that have chronic daily pain. These rules aren’t helping most of us to cope but Dr. Olsson does give 100+% to make it bearable when all you want to do is scream “uncle”. I do recommend him. He’s my 4th pain doctor in my 30+ years of needing pain management. My first was a clinic ... read more
Great reception, friendly staff, and knowledgeable caregivers. Chris Cole was thorough, kind, and attentive. Listened carefully to my concerns and provided excellent care.
So my normal medicine is unobtainable at the moment. I called my pharmacy and they said that there was this one medicine thats similar so I asked the dr for it he gave me that type of medicine but he wrote it only for a strength that is for a name brand an odd 18mg strength when almost all is 10 15 20 30 40 ect except the one he wrote me was 18mg that costs 25 bucks a pill and its for a weaker dose than my normal medicine. I am a disabled vet that was cut off my pain meds by the va after 17 years now I got this clown forcing... read more
I was referred to Dr. Olson by one of his former colleagues from Sea Pines. He came highly recommended and from some of the comments he, appears to be good at what he does. When I read the reviews, I definitely had concerns. A physician can be great but, if their office and support staff are rude, unprofessional and incompetent, it is very difficult to get past and have a decent doctor patient relationship. To receive the quality of care that every patient deserves, the entire medical staff needs to work together in harmony ... read more
From the front desk check-in, to being seen, everyone I talked with (except the nurses) were Rude, and had a "Holier than thou" attitude. I even had Mr. Cole tell me (with finger pointed up) "I'm Talking" when I had started to ask a question, (I said to myself, wow, is this the guy I have to see every time I come here?) I am finding another place to go for pain issues, as this place does not treat people with respect. Primum non nocere !
He is compassionate, listens to you does thorough examination each time you go I would recommend him to anyone that had a problem with their back
