My family went to Jax's last night in memory of my mom we lost 9 month ago from a long battle with cancer. Jax's was the place my father brought my mom on their first date. My dad wanted to go back and bring his family. We had an amazing experience, great food, and wonderful service. This night meant a lot to us and Jax's made it a special memory I won't forget.

The food tonight that was presented to us tonight was barely acceptable. Ordered a medium rare steak that came out medium well at best. Both the soup and our entrees were flavorless and we payed top dollar. The best part was our waiter told us we could not have any substitutes for the side to our entree. Also, our waiter was very rude and was relentless in asking if we wanted drinks, after we told him we only wanted water for dinner. Jax has always been one of my favorite NE restaurants. Great food, good wine list. Could use more Micro beers on tap. Patio is best in the city.
Had a a great experience! Servers were awesome and the food was grand! The chefs on the buffet line could use a lesson in smiling and customer service... but over all always amazing!
Jax's is classic at its Best, tremendous patio, fabulous filets, great value, (Micheal) Management and (Bill) Ownership are first class and treat all guest special.
I grew up dining at Jax. We had our Wedding reception 22 years ago. And to this day it's still our favorite place to dine. Food and service are always beyond Excellent. We had Roxanne tonight she is a fantastic waitress. Keep up the Excellent work Jax!
Loud shout out to Michael Bazewicz and Jax Cafe! We were in need of a funeral home near me to have a Saturday afternoon memorial as I was having a mid-morning/early afternoon memorial up at an Elk River funeral home. Both funeral homes close to me had time restrictions and or extra charges that would put us way over budget. Jax Café came through with their 2nd floor.
