I was here last night for my brother 64th. birthday party. Reservations was made for 30 people, but only about 20 showed up which seem to have been a problem ,out of the gate. The waitress was very short, actually I would say rude. I've been to this establishment 2or3 times before, worst time ever. We talked to the manager about the service, and basically he just brush us off. So I won't be going back to jax.

We will share this post with all of our management team. The seemed to be many points of confusion about the reservation for your brother. The reservation did start out at 15-20 guests and grew to 40-45 the morning of. Mr. Johnson, you’re absolutely right, about 20 people eventually showed up for the reservation. We’ve been enjoying Jax a couple times a year for over 20 years and we have never been disappointed. And last Sunday’s Lobster special was no exception. Four of us fully enjoyed the food, the service, the ambiance, and the reasonable price ($30 for a 1 1/2 lb lobster, with 2 sides). Our server was top notch. We each bought a side salad for $6 which was also very fresh and tasty. After dinner we had coffee and Turtle Cheese cake which was perfect. Went for a grooms dinner & I very much enjoyed the atmosphere. All the employees were very friendly & efficient. Loved the old fashioned feeling of this restaurant!!

Great patio space. Great service. My steak and perogis were very good. My wife's chickrn and risotto was just OK. Value for the cost is just OK.
