since march 2017 i have had 2 engine failures(305 chevy) and 3 tranny failures(2R)...so...whose the fool here??ME...today is mar5,2020 and was just informed that i no longer have a warranty. if you really want a jasper product...call me first. please save yourself from the bad luck that i have had

Very disappointed with this company. Had an issue with a transmission and a defect in the casting. Resulted in fluid loss and transmission failure. Didn't even make it to 1/3 of the gauranteed milage gauranteed. Was denied warranty coverage and not offered any resolution. Given a very manila response by a rep named Jack and his supervisor. This company doesn't care about people. Only their bottom line. So far I have replaced my jasper transmission once in my 6.7 Cummins but its starting to go out again. Luckily it's still under warranty but that doesn't cover a rental or down time. I definitely would not recommend jasper

Duramax motor replaced with jasper motor and 48,000 miles later driver side head cracked around injector cup so oil was leaking into coolant. When motor was purchased warranty was negotiated to 3 year unlimited miles. Scraping and scrounging with loans etc. to find money the price of $15,000 for the motor.. we fast forward to today 2 1/2 years later. Argued with jasper warranty people for 2 days finally honoring the warranty that was written on the invoice plain as day. I was told parts and labor would be covered $75 per hou... read more

I have never bought a re-manufactured engine before. I have had mechanics rebuild them, but never bought an engine from a vendor like Jasper. I cannot say that they are not true to their warranty, but the way there warranty is advertised and reality of using it is a bit different. If you have an issue, they will expect you to perform diagnosis until they are satisfied that the engine or transmission has a defect. I bought an engine. This is the worst company I've ever dealt with not only did they send me 2 bad motors and a bad water pump now they wont stand by any of there parts starting with warranty going by the 1st peice of **** motor they sent instead of the last one who does this to people? Jasper does all my plugs are blowing out I will never ever buy from these people again they are the absolute worst!!

wow i wish we read the reviews first. the jasper motor was installed in a ford bronco 2 and never ran right. finally a shop tore down the motor and found the valve seats in 2 cylinders were never installed which was causing a miss fire. after presenting jasper with proof of this they said this motor was out of warranty and it is not their fault. not their fault that all the internal parts were not installed? i could not understand their thinking. i think jasper engines must have lost all sense of customer satisfaction as thi... read more

I HAVE A DIESEL SHOP AND HAVE BEEN USING JASPER ENGINES AND TRANS FOR 8 YEARS, CUSTOMER SERVICE HAS ALWAYS BEEN A STEP ABOVE, YES SOMETIMES PARTS FAIL AND ITS UNFORTUNEIT. BUT THEY HAVE ALWAYS TAKEN CARE OF IT, EVEN ON SOME CASES THAT UNIT IS OUT OF WARRANTY COVERAGE THEY HAVE TAKEN EXTRA STEPS TO TRY HELP OUT. THANKS AGAIN

Zero stars please. I seriously never complain or do negative reviews but this needs to be known. We put a new Jasper engine in our truck in Feb of 2016. It is now Nov of 2019. The engine has 80,000 miles on it. We learned something was wrong with the engine. We took the truck in for some routine maintenance and to have a couple of things fixed. We really trust the place we take our trucks to be worked on. They found about $2,600.00 worth of repairs needed because of the engine alone. We didn't know at the time, but the owner... read more
