Nice variety of meat options (i.e. steak, chicken, shrimp, burgers, fish, etc.). The salad bar was pretty well stocked and fresh. Our food came out quickly, the waitress was attentive, and we enjoyed our food. Bonus points were scored for having Ninkasi beer from Eugene OR (can't just buy that at the store in CA). Best and cheapest salad bar EVER!!!!
Try Monte's Spaghetti if available - shimp, tender fillet mignon, sausage, veggies all in there - and for a good price. Well-stocked salad bar. Friendly staff.
Had a nice fish sandwich out on the patio overlooking the lake. Food was good, service excellent, prices reasonable.
I can't WAIT to come back here! My boyfriend and I stopped here on our way back to Sacramento because we were looking for something we'd never had and something with a view. I LOVED this place so much! The woodsy vibe and the long bar were inviting. The bartender was awesome and they had some good brews on tap. This place is one of a kind, the staff is super friendly and provides great service. Quality food, and a great location, on the lake. Can't beat that!
I'll be going again for sure! We were in the area visiting and stopped in for lunch, The entire staff was very pleasant and seated us right away. Our service was prompt and spot on. The food was really good. Between all of us at the table, there was a variety of soups, burgers, garlic bread, drinks and pie. The consensus is the Bleu Cheese burger beat out the Russian burger. I love Jason's. It's the perfect spot for relaxing and enjoying some good food. The only down side is it's so popular it gets pretty busy, but I am always impressed how the staff handles the crowds!
Lake front with beautiful view of Lake Tahoe: inside seating (limited views of the lake) and outdoor seating with heaters on the patio with comfortable sitting regardless of the temperature. We ordered dinner that included a visit to a very nice salad bar and fresh baked bread.
