The Flatiron Steak (good quality) was done exactly as requested. Coconut Halibut was a refreshing, tasty variance from the usual. The cheesecake was just like a cheesecake should be (and a larger portion than usual). Our meal averaged ~$30 each - including the drinks and dessert. A fun crowd.

This restaurant was just down the road from the Red Wolf Lakeside Lodge where we were staying. The menu had a nice variety of food choices, and we were all pleased with our entrees. We had a very nice view of Lake Tahoe and the sunset. The hostess and waitress were very pleasant.

After kayaking in the lake we had lunch at Jason's. A little had to find. If you blink while driving through Kings Beach you might miss the very nice restaurant. I had the Prime Rib dip which was fantastic. My wife had the Turkey club which she said was over the top. Seating inside is cosy and very comfortable. Seating outside (sun room) has a great view of the lake.

While Vacationing in Lake Tahoe, we read the reviews for restaurants in the area. Jason's was great. It was walking distance from our hotel and right on the beach. The hang gliders land right on the beach outside on the sand, it was fun to watch them. There was also a couple of weddings going on when we were there. We ended going back again for dinner at the end of our stay, both meals were great, Loved the Clam Chowder.

Jason's Beachside Grille is a very good choice for the vacationer looking for a casual yet local dining experience. Jason's is truly right on the beach at King's Beach, CA. My ribs were cooked to perfection and the salad bar was a real treat. The view of the busy Lake Tahoe beach was excellent and the service was first-rate. Jason's doesn't take reservations, so get there early!

This is an excellent resort restaurant on Lake Tahoe. Four of us ate there and all of the dishes were outstanding. They have a great selection of beers, draft and bottled. Service was swift, cheerful and helpful. The restaurant sits right on the shore with a great lake view. Should we go back to Kings Beach, we shall definitely eat at Jasons.

Jason's is consistently great. I have eaten there many times and gotten a variety of things. The salad bar makes a great meal. A favorite is the portobello mushroom burger. My husband often gets their special and loves them. Once when I ordered the soup it was so great I asked about the recipe. They brought me the cookbook! Theresa, the hostess always greets us with a welcoming smile and comments. Great service. A must visit year round. Outside deck in the summer, fire pit in the winter.

We have been going to Jason's for years, different seasons, different time of day....I can't really say which is my favorite! Summertime, relaxing on the outside deck watching people play in the water, enjoying a good burger....or in the Summer evenings sitting on the deck enjoying a drink and great appetizers while watching the sun set.....Fall is beautiful too, especially if its not to cold to sit outside and admire the beautiful leaves and enjoy the clear crisp air. wintertime is cozy sitting inside, large groups talking ... read more
