My wife and I stopped in at Jason's for lunch when we were staying in Tahoe Vista and it turned out to be an excellent choice. As someone else stated, finding the front door is a bit of a challenge. We had a great time here with a pre-ride dinner to prepare to ride around Lake Tahoe the next day. It was a great meal and the view was outstanding as we ate on the patio. The meal did its job getting us fueled for a great ride the next day. They have a good salad bar as well.
We chose this place because our son's name is Jason and he and his new wife provided us with the flight tickets for this trip. We loved it. We sat outside on the deck with a heater nearby. Food was great and the service was good, location was perfect!
Made reservations for 18 of us on Friday night. All was set up and ready for us upon arrival. It's a fun and beautiful place to share a meal with friends. We were please with the staff and will recommend Jason's to others.
Dropped in late on a Sunday night. Server was friendly and efficient. Food was excellent and reasonably priced. Nice decor and vibe in the place. Located close to all accommodations in town.
Don't worry about ordering from the menu...the salad bar is fantastic!! Clam chowder needed some help though...way to thick and lumpy!
Our family of 5 was looking for a casual dinner place with a wide variety of food that would please picky teenagers. Jason's perfectly fit the bill! It's nicely decorated with lots of wood, cozy booths, and a wonderful firepit area, where you can wait to be seated or enjoy a drink. Yummy juicey burgers with a delightful view of the Lake. A must stop on your way around the lake! Good service - modest prices.
The salad bar is very yummy, the ribs were amazing, and the fries were crispy and fresh. Nice out door seating area and view. Live music. Overall great restaurant!
