I was absolutely scared beyond belief! Dr. Darlington was very professional and explained the procedure thoroughly. He answered all of my questions (and I had quite a few!)completely. He took his time and I was not rushed at any time. The entire staff was courteous and efficient. I work in the medical field and I was very impressed with Dr. Darlington and everyone I came in contact with at this office. I actually researched who I wanted to work with preliminarily and chose Dr. darlington as I felt his expertise would be valuable for my optical situation. I was beyond satisfied with the detailed care and attention to every phase of the process. I had multiple challenges as I had poor eyesight at an early age and had only experienced reasonable at best sight with correction. Wow!!! Just had my cataracts removed from both eyes two weeks apart and what an experience!!! Great!! I see like I did when I was 20, even better and in all the visits I did not meet one person that wasn't exceptionally kind and warm and worked like crazy to make you feel comfortable. Great Doctor, Great Team!!! Would highly recommend!!

Dr. Darlington did cataract surgery on both of my eyes. Both surgeries and recovery went smoothly. I had my 6 month check-up today and all is perfect with my eyes. I have 20/15 vision now. Thank you to Dr. Darlington and the entire staff.

Dr. Michael Mandese, of The Eye Institute is one of the best eye doctors I have ever been to. I went to him for a routine eye exam and learned that my cataracts were level six. It was becoming difficult to drive at night because of the glare making oncoming cars appear to be in my lane! I couldn't read street signs and frankly was a danger to others while driving. My husband and I just had the greatest happening in our eyesight. For the first time in my life, I can see without wearing glasses. The cataract surgery was a great success for us both. Dr. Darlington and his entire team are very professional. They treat you as if you are very special and unique and bring you comfort the entire process. I recently had cataract removal surgery on one eye. Dr. Darlington and his team made it a positive, easy experience. This makes an eventual surgery on the other eye nothing to dread.
