At this building in particular, 88 Van Reypen st apt 1D , the boiler is so loud that you can hear it from half a block away. And they still havent fixed and updated it. It’s like a bomb waiting to go off throughout the whole winter. We lived with this for 8 months and when complained about the issue the owner told we were exaggerating the whole thing. Robert Pivetz is abusive and yells at tenants who ask for help. He does not understand what his job is (which is to help people) and talks down to tenants rather than trying to help them.
I moved into one of their properties five months ago and while it is a decent one bedroom for the price we’re paying I have never seen a lazier management office. Lisa only does her job as a receptionist when it is time to take your money. Robert has not answered any of my calls in MONTHS to put my number on the door bell and I have consistently missed packages and deliveries. Maria or whatever her name is needs to be FIRED actually! Worst management no response at all
I've been a tenant at 88 Van Reypen St for a little over 2 years now, and I have loved my apartment! It is an older building so there are of course the standard very minor issues that come along with that but nothing thats inconvenienced me in any major way! The super - can't write enough good things about him! He is incredibly responsive, pleasant to deal with, and he takes such good care of the building!
