Dr. Kissinger is truly one of the most compassionate, professional, and competent vets there is! She has provided the BEST care for all of our dogs and countless foster dogs we've had. She treats her staff with great respect and teamwork that is so comforting when the health and well-being of my beloved pets are at stake. I can't say enough about this extraordinary vet.

Friendly, caring, flexible, and with fair rates. They go above and beyond to care for your pets, and treat you like family. They also don't push you into buying services your pet doesn't need, and help you find solutions for your budgets. We have been taking our pets there for years!
Dr. Kissinger genuinely cares about each animal brought to her. I had my little 7 pound pomeranian spayed last week and Dr. Kissinger was incredibly kind and encouraged me to ask any questions I had (on top of performing the work very skillfully). She sees both of my pomeranians and I ALWAYS leave with a great vibe! Love, Leia & Chewy
Dr. Holthaus was incredibly gentle and patient with my two senior dogs who are terrified of the vet. We were the last appointment of the day and when it was past their closing time, she still made a point to kindly answer the questions I had about my dog’s health and procedure moving forward.
I have taken my animals here since I moved to Lawrence in '07. They have always provided excellent care for a very reasonable price. They have saved the lives of 2 of my animals now, once when Dr. Jarrett was still there and now once with Dr. Kissinger. And even if they hadn't succeeded, I would have known that they did absolutely everything they could for these beloved members of our family. I will never go anywhere else.
