Janke is a great place to have a fun experience, find out what glass blowing is all about, and get to take a hands on approach to a skill that truly is art at its finest! And if you get so lucky as to take one of their classes, you will get the pleasure of working with an incredibly knowledgeable and masterful teacher, Christian! While he is very thorough, he explains all of the information with a clear, calm method, making even the most beginner of students, feel as if they have the same skill of someone who is well mastere... read more

Had a blast. Our instructor, Maggie, was knowledgeable, and thank goodness, patient. I would recommend this to anybody.

I love this place. A friend had a birthday party there and we made wine stoppers or flowers. The whole process was interesting and fun. I would highly recommend them for the work they do and the educational purposes.

Matt Janke was my professor in collage for jewelry but he also introduced glassblowing to our class and helped us expand our view of art. We had the chance to do some glassblowing ourselves and to shape our own little pieces. He is kind and patient with teaching anyone how to do this and you can see the love he has for glass. He is a wonderful artist and anyone would be getting a treat to work with him or to be taught by him. I highly recommend everyone and anyone to go to his studio even just to see his art work.
