I had a referral to see Dr. Janet Skarda as I was told I needed surgery for a hernia I had. I was not impressed with her as she told me unless I insisted she do the surgery she wouldn’t do it. I had brought with me my disc of x- rays and she said she couldn’t see a hernia on them. I was never offered my disk back so my wife called the office and said we wanted it sent back to us- which they did do. I’d like to start this review off by giving a deep and whole hearted thank you to Dr. Skarda, the entire surgical staff, and the staff at the Grasslands campus. I’ve come across a lot of doctors who have passed along diagnoses, drawn out procedures, labs, and scans, but Dr.Skarda made this 4-5 year journey into something that took 4-5 months to get rid of. The most uncaring, unfeeling, and unethical doctor I know. Janet (I just can't bring myself to call her Dr.) may have the skills to be a good surgeon, but she does not have the skills to be a good human being.
