First met Dr. Esway In the hospital prior to surgery. I immediately liked the "guy" and was confident that he was the surgeon for me. He was careful to explain the surgery and went above and beyond making sure I knew what to expect. He does have a slightly "quirky" manner which I found absolutely endearing. While at my first visit to his office from my rehab facility he asked how the facility was treating me and I told him everything was fine except the meals were usually not warm. Dr. Esway is a superior orthopedic doctor. He is that rare combination of knowledge, persistence and generosity of spirit. He's the one you want to go to and be assured he is working harder for you and the best outcome than the majority of the many many doctors I have been a patient of. My son(15) had surgery on his left foot(heel and ankle area)and Dr. Esway suggested a procedure that was a little more extensive. I agreed after he explained everything thoroughly and, long story short, all turned out well. Dr.Esway took his time to explain all and ask if I had any questions; he was not in a hurry and unattentative; very professional. Tommorow my son has the same surgery on the right foot...yes, by Dr. Esway.
awesome doc. dr esway was clearly interested in me getting better. his bedside manner was excellent. even when i had a problem he made me feel like everything would be ok which it was. i feel like he really cared. i always left the office feeling better. i had a terrible injury and one doctor told me i would never walk normally. dr esway gave me hope and 3 months after surgery i was walking better than before surgery. i am back at work which i didnt think was possible. dr esway was upfront about how bad my injury was but gav... read more
