Great medical skills and definitely cares about his patients, not just cancer, but your entire health. One of the top HEMATOLOGISTS AND ONCOLOGIST at MD ANDERSON recommended Dr. Uyeki. They are number 1 in the world, Dr. Uyeki there. I would give him 6 stars if I could.
When you're in a state of shock from a cancer diagnosis, you need an oncologist who is kind, supportive, experienced and knowledgeable. Dr. Uyeki is all of these, plus a skilled communicator. He takes the time to make sure that I understand my situation and the plan, then continues by asking the right questions to make sure that my problems - and any potential problems - have been addressed. I'm so lucky that my surgeon recommended him!
Dr. Uyeki has probably kept me in good health ( along with my wife ) for years . Calm , compassionate, professional , knowledgeable and all that and he treats you like a friend not a patient with a problem .
