Visit went well. No surprises.
I’ve been with Dr. James Uyeki for 2 years now. I feel really well taken care of, regularly informed of and about changing treatment plans, and most of all listened to. I ask many questions about my labs, scans, complex treatment plans, and he always answers in easy to understand terms, but I never feel like he’s dumbing down the conversation. On the contrary I feel respected and cared about. He’s a super oncologist!

It was a very informative session. Dr. Uyeki was easy to understand and very caring.
Caring, professional, concise
Dr Uyeki delivered a diagnosis with clarity, compassion and presence. He had detected something in my regular blood tests, ordered a different test, and was able to diagnose a condition that I've probably had for awhile. I feel I'm in good hands as I navigate any possible changes in health or health protocols.
Dr Uyeki is a STELLAR provider. He is always so personable, speaks to me as a person rather than a number, and provides such amazing patient-centered care. I always appreciate the time he takes to discuss my lab results and what the plan forward will be. In addition, he is very quick to respond to concerns or questions that I have submitted via the patient portal. I would highly recommend him.
My rating is based on two visits to Dr. Uyeki. Each time, after the normal vitals (weight, blood pressure, temperature) are taken, you are left sitting in a room. On both occasions I had to wait - alone - for a little more than an hour. The first time was because Dr. Uyeki was backed up. The second time, Dr. Uyeki blamed the fact the internet was down and he had to work the IT person.
